Rasual Butler will stay w/ ClippersRasual Butler - G/F - Los Angeles Clippers

    Today - 6:05 PM ET

Rasual Butler will re-sign with the Clippers for the 2010-11 season,

according to beat writer Lisa Dillman.

Details of the contract should soon surface, and the retention of Butler solidifies the Clippers' depth chart. Last year the swingman set a Clippers' single-season record for 3-pointers made in a season (149), but minutes may be scarce thanks to newcomers Ryan Gomes and Al-Farouq Aminu.

Butler would have been a decent fit in Miami if James Jones didnt resign over there.

T-Mac and T-Thib back together then.

This hasn't been the most exciting Clipper off-season. They signed a bunch or role players to short contracts...

    Ryan Gomes
    Randy Foye
    Brian Cook
    Craig Smith
    Rasual Butler

At least the future could be bright with their core of young players with Eric Gordon, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, Al Farouq Aminu, and Eric Bledsoe...
