    I loved Dwight's Superman dunk. What made it great was he literally threw the ball down. It wasn't a literal dunk, but it was better than had he dunked it. It's like how nobody really appreciates how spectacular Gerald Green's cupcake dunk was. Even the dunk where Dwight Howard slapped the sticker on the backboard and dunked was underappreciated.

    i think he threw it down because his jump was short rather than him hovering above the rim like the pundits hyped.
