The clippers are filled with Big Headed players
no being selfish on the court but. . . I think there
are at least 5~6 who think they maybe MAX players

How will they hold the payroll
    Odom will want MAx
Brand DESERVES MAX (as much as any player)
Miles I think will want Max
Dooling, Magette, Richardson, Kandy man will want
    significant raises . .. . .

I just don't see them holding they talent too much longer
(esp if they back in the lotto this year)

so . . maybe room to help them out.

Will they be able to hold them together?

Donald Sterling has a reputation as being one of the cheapest owners in pro sports, BUT...

Now that he has an arena that is actually worthy of an NBA team and some decent fan support (Clippers are averaging 17,675 per game), I can see him greasing the hinges on his checkbook and forking over the money to sign his star players..

I think he'll keep Brand, Miles, Magette, Q-Rich, and Mcinnis, and trade for a good defensive center....

He'll probably try to trade Odom, Maggette, and Olowakandi for Vince Carter and Yogi.

No way in hell they retain all of their players. Even Mr. Cuban could not find a way to convince all of those guys to stick around.

I do see them resigning the core though:Odom/Miles, Brand, and Richardson...They should be able to retain a couple of the following:Dooling, Olowakandi, Maggete, McInnis

I don't see the Clips staying together. I think they'll let Odom walk because they're seeing that they can do pretty good without him, and they also know that he will demand the max. They need to concentrate on keeping Quentin and Darius. Darius will take over Odom's starting spot next year which will only mean more playing time for Q. If they can keep Olowokandi at a reasonably low price, they'll be set. Oh, and they need to find out to re-sign that Brand guy to a six-year extension.

Well...I sure hope they break up. They're just one more roadblock in the Rocket's journey to a postseason game.

I'm almost positive Olowokandi will be asking for the max. And he might actually get it, too.

Olowokandi is averaging 9.7 points and 8.9 rebounds...If HE gets a max salary, the Steve Francis should get partial ownership of the league...
