The Clippers benefit by being owned by a self made billionaire --not trustfund offspring--whose team isnt his only source of income
A fan on any level, besides a Clippers fan, would rather see LeBron and Anthony Davis over will-he-play Kawhi and is-he-injured Paul George, any day of the week. Seriously. You never know if Kawhi or PG is suiting up that day. That plus the aura of Kobe = Lakers ticket prices soaring. It has nothing to do with how good the teams are.
Look at rockets ticket prices at home compared to their road games. Getting in the building at a discount is not an issue.
Plus the advantage of the Clippers over the Lakers with their inherent tradition of winning championships and MVP winners on the team. It makes no sense that the Lakers are more expensive.
