    Also his shoulder/duct tape situation?

Some guys just break down. Being hurt sucks ass and when your team is bunk and all your coach does is yell maybe you just get a big ol' case of the ****-its.

Stop feeding this narrative that Morey is good at his job. He's horrible at it. Le$ is cheap. Milk hair has horrible rotations... blah...

Ok. I can't. It sucks to hear that about Luc. Wish him all the best, but now I see why even the deal he got was massively too much.

    Sucks to hear for Luc.

Just going to say, same people that complain about not bringing him back would be complaining right now about why Morey would sign an injury prone player had they did.

I loved Luc but his playoff run made me glad that Morey did not resign him.

I don't think he's injured tbh. I think they just don't want to play him, because they had to play Gallo and Harris and they wanted to give the rest of the minutes to young guys. He tweeted a week ago that he'll be back soon. I would STILL sign him for the minimum (if he got released) even if for no other reason but to give us insurance for the playoffs.

He is a Prince, he can fall back on his backup job. He should've had surgery on his dislocated shoulder, but believed it would heal on its own, which it doesn't. Once a shoulder is dislocated, there is always a risk of his shoulder being dislocated again, it happened again at the end of a meaningless game against the Lakers, still angry at Mike DAntoni playing Luc, it costed the Rockets a Championship maybe, plus should've limited Chris minutes in the playoffs and regular season.

It's a shame for Luc (& the Rockets). Most of the time I thought he was actually a better fit for the Rockets than Ariza. He just knew where to be on defense at all times and made very little mistakes while covering a lot of other's.

I really wanted him back. I was more upset with him leaving than Ariza (come on who pays 12 million a year for Ariza). But seeing how little he is playing I think the organisation made the right move not signing him (I actually do not know if he wanted to sign with us, so maybe it is not on our organisation).

It's interesting. I wasn't sorry that we didn't bring him back because of the shoulder. I have vivid memories of Carl Herrera's (not "our" BBS Carl) chronic shoulder dislocations, and always thought it screwed up too early what looked to be an outstanding career. When I heard, or rather didn't hear of Luc getting surgery to correct the problem, I viewed it as a red flag. Morey not bringing him back seemed wise.

Heck, I would have loved to bring him back had he been reliable, shoulder wise. Would have been OK having him back for the minimum regardless, although he was/is worth more, if healthy. The Clips rolled the dice, gave him more than we could afford, apparently, and it's the knee coming out of left field that has him out. Irony abounds! What the fans said, at least the bit @Zergling found, didn't clear things up a bit. I'm sorry Luc's body is letting him down. He was a perfect rotation player for us when he was whole, and now he's a hole in the Clippers' rotation.

To be followed by next year's thread on Danuel House underperforming the generous contract he got from some other team.

Rockets medical staff are honest and competent people. They don't know when you're healthy but they do know when you're not healthy

    Hehe, that made me chuckle.

"Look boss, I can't tell you what's really wrong with him. I can't tell you when he'll be healthy. I can't tell you how to keep him healthy. But I can tell you he ain't healthy."

looking back at it now, honestly I still would of preferred to have brought him back. Mostly because the acquisitions of mcw and melo were just not my ideal choice from the beginning. And of course losing Ariza. ennis was a question mark at the time. but at this point of the season, it does seem the right choice was not bringing him back. There's less than 30 games left in the season and moute has played in a grand total of the first 4 games of the season in limited minutes. I agree with you he seemed to be a seamless fit prior to his injury for everything this team needed him to do. Wish hou could of gotten more from him had he been healthy

If he did, it's been declared Top Secret by Homeland Security. ;-)
