I like this pick, I was thinking Morey would be insane and draft another useless backup PG.
He should know by now that PGs are useful in this team, they just more big that can rebound and dunk.

 

Here is an interview of Clint Capela after he works out for the Toronto Raptors.

At the 3:33 mark, the interviewer asks him when he wants to come the US since he has two more years on a 3 year deal, and Capela says he wants to play in the NBA this year.

Is he better than Dmo?

 

Morey got snookered, "Clint" is about 45 years old.

 

Another Euroturd we will talk about but never see.

 

Even if he is 45, he is still growing.
He was listed at 6'9" last year, so he has grown a couple of inches.

 

That's not going to happen. Could be a trade asset.

 

Right now yes. Capella can play defense

 

He's a goner.

 

"Like" is probably too strong a word for me. I'm not mad about it, but we haven't seen much of anything from our stash picks. Getting tough for me to believe in them and it's never that fun to see your team say "pass" when their pick is in.

I wonder if we take Napier if he was still available.

Here's hoping we make something happen - if LBJ stays put, Anthony goes Chicago, and Love to SF....we've just spun our wheels with an even weaker bench.

 

If you don't count D-Mo he's the Rockets only backup C

 

He's gonna be in the deal with Lin to create cap room

 

he will play for houston in the dleague. ha ha

 

You would've said this no matter who Morey drafted. Tell the truth

 

He has better athleticism than D-Mo.
Capela has better quickness, speed and hops.
His rebounding and defense are supposedly better.

D-Mo has better skills.
D-Mo is a better post up guy and is a better a shooter.

The other thing is, Capela is really young. Supposedly he grew a couple of inches in the past year, and put on about 10 pounds.

 

I think we are going to use him as an undersized C
