Wonder if they will let him get in a few minutes at the end of games towards the back end of this year. Could he be this year's Troy Daniels?

Doubt it. Much easier to find a playoff role for an unproven shooter than an unproven big, especially if we are trying to come from behind in games.

He's gonna be Dwight's back-up eventually. Will we see him in the playoffs this year???

Imagine him and Josh Smith/Tjones together in the frontcourt. They'll wreak havoc whether for good or bad for the Rockets LOL

So, how far is CC from being an NBA contributor?

It is Dleague and he will not be doing any of this in the NBA. He should have developed in the Euro league a couple more years before coming over. Maybe some GM that watched will be fooled and ask for him and give us someone more NBA ready.

There is always those last few games at the end of the year that don't matter where these rookies can show what they got for their ticket to be on the playoff roster similar to Troy Daniels last year

Time to stop wasting time at the Dleague and send him into the torture chamber with Dream.

Too detailed maybe. It's great to have the dleague, but a big can only dunk so much. It's clear he has that down. Give him a move or two to practice on, when he plays.

    he looks Great.

i liked the play that was a fast break, and he took one long dribble and slammed it.

i know this gets thrown around a lot over the years on this website buuuut please dont trade that guy.

That Capela man has tree branches for arms! Excellent potential! Best case scenario: KG.

Ps. See, this is how you sell it to the Suns gm.

People forget Dwight was like a 20/20 guy not too long ago. Bring up Capella and let him be the rest of the regular season Center while Dwight works on getting right.

i just looked at his career stats and on a per minute basis he seems to be pretty much at his average.

question is do you want him playing 33 minutes a game like he is playing right now. or would you rather him play 37-38 minutes. because at that point yeah he would be getting 20 and 12 instead of 17 and 11 like he is getting at the moment.

Thanks for the highlights. It's incredible how long, tall, and light on his feet he is. It's like he doesn't even have to try. The jumper form is fine, but his release is a bit slow....maybe not a problem with his length.

Can he hold his position in the post on defense?

Capela is an ingredient all contenders need, lower first rounder that becomes an NBA starter. Hope he becomes a Taj Gibson for us.

I hope we resist the urge to trade him to acquire a PG. I'd much rather trade the NOK and a HOU pick since we won't get anything close to his level and when he is ready to play in the NBA he will be essentially a first rounder (and likely... a top of the first round pick).
