I thought there was a topic for this, but I went through pages for it. But let me say this is a hilarious movie, and not only a hilarious movie, but one that teaches you a pretty damn good lesson. Go see it!
I dont like Adam Sandler and have actually only seen two of his movies, but I have been hearing so many good things about this and it sounds really interesting. Im definitely going to see it.
Acutally I've been hearing the opposite. I have liked Adam Sandler in the past but his schtik is wearing on me. The last movie I watched of his was 50 First Dates; and it was pretty good. I don't think it's saying a lot about the movie when practically the only scene you see in all the trailers is the part where he stops time and moves the kids glove. Were they so hardpressed to find funny moments that they could only find one? The premise has possibilities but I'm willing to bet it fails on execution.
saw it opening night, great, great movie. I didn't expect much and I like Adam Sandler movies, but this really surprised me. It maybe predictable but still very entertainning. To tell you the truth, I don't see why David Hasselhoff doesn't do more movies. I thought his performance was outstanding in this flick. The only part I thought was off was the one dramatic scene in which Sandler HAD to put in some joke in there, but I guess it had to keep the comedy in the scene some how. Some surprise cameos, and for those who seen it, did yall recognize Rob Schneider? Hilarious cameo ever....
u know wat movies ive seen recently thanks to krogers 1 dollar rentals which are great.....hostel, glory road, firewall, are 3 great movies, for basketball fans watch glroy road, its great because its based on a true story and all the games that go on with that team really did occur way back in 60s n ****, everything in it is true, down to the exact scores and plays of the games and how they were won, the players names, everything, everything is true
I thought it was good too. Especially any scene involving Kate Beckinsale I caught the Rob Schneider cameo too; that was a good one.
The Rob Schneider part was great. The movie was good. Pretty funny, a little different than what I expected. Good nonetheless.
i like most adam sandler movies but this one looked terrible on the previews. seems like most of you like it though. i'm guessing the previews didn't do it justice?
http://imdb.com/title/tt0389860/ Just look at the character names on the right. I thought you would do that from the beginning when Faos referred you to imdb...
i just saw Glory Road this morning. i didn't know it was all a true story. ****SPOILER ALERT********* when they almost went undefeated and won their first tournament game as a result of the foot-out-of-bounds call, my first thought was, "how lame." but since it seems it was an accurate account of everything, i love the movie.
I haven't seen this yet but I actually kind of like that. Seems like a lot of movies pack everything they can into the trailer...so when I see the film itself I've already seen the best jokes.
