The most disappointed team in the NBA League. What do you their record prediction will be till the end of the season??....so far half way through the season their are at 8-32...

Even I never new they would lose 32 games by the first half...I was hoping for a record of 14-27 or something...It must be heartbreaking for the team who lost a 2 Back-to-back MVP known as (LeBron James)...and winning games above 60 for a few seasons....But they really shouldn't be this awful.

I believe Cavs are slightly better than that but since the injuries and Shaq went to the Celtics...it is really hard for them

Take a look at the Schedule and Standing: Margin and Statistics ..They lost now lost 12 straight...previous highest lossing streak was 10

So far the won over: Celtics, @Philly, @D.C., @NJN, Philly, Bucks, Memphis, NYK by an average of 5.63 points...

=======here is what the latest Power Ranking have to say (from NBA)=======
    Cleveland (8-32)
    Pace: 95.7 (13), Off: 97.4 (30), Def: 109.5 (29)
Three losses by a combined 105 points put Cleveland on the brink of being the worst team in the league both offensively and defensively. They're lucky to have picked up a few narrow victories early on, because their record could very well be worse than it is.
    ------------------------------------------------------------------------
The schedule ahead doesnt make it any easier: (Next 10 games) [my prediction 2-8]
    Rest of January
    Wed 19 vs Phoenix
    Fri 21 vs Milwaukee
    Sat 22 @ Chicago
    Mon 24 @ New Jersey
    Tue 25 @ Boston
    Fri 28 vs Denver
    Sun 30 @ Orlando
    Mon 31 @ Miami
    February
    Wed 02 vs Indiana
    Fri 04 @ Memphis

Even as they endure a 1-23 stretch since being 7-9 through an NFL season's worth of games, the Nets, Kings, and Timberwolves have managed to be just as inept. They'll be better than the Nets' 12-70 record last year, but I think they'll struggle to get to 20.

I think that the Cavaliers will pass up at least one of those three teams.

Losing Delonte West, Shaq, Ilgauskas, and Mike Brown was just way too much for the Cavs to overcome this season.

I hope they set the record for most losses in a row and for most losses in a season but, as always, more teams won't give a toss about the last 10-15 games of the season and they'll rack up a few wins to avoid that...

    To name a few..

    Durvsa
Well, they were a 60-win team with LeBron, and look to be at best a 40 win team without him. I am surprised, but I suppose I shouldn't be.

    Apollo 33
Contrary to popular belief of lebron nuthugger, he had a more than decent supporting squad, and they are proving it

    Scientific1
Not really. They had good chemistry, and they play in the East. LeBron probably adds 20+ wins, but I didn't have doubt they'd be capable of a .500 season.

    Pizza_Da_Hut
What should be more of a surprise is that with that team LeBron still wasn't able to win a ring...

    Juxtaposed Jolt
The whole team couldn't shine, because LeBron was the end-all, be-all of the team.
Now, guys like JJ Hickson and Mo Williams get to step up and become the first / second options on offense, while guys like Varejao also get to show their skills.
Their team this year mirrored ours last year. Without Yao, AB exploded and became MIP, while others also stepped up and showed what they could do when the main star wasn't there.
Good for Cleveland. Seriously, good for Cleveland. I hope they beat the crap out of the Heat.

    emjohn
They're doing a good job treading water like we did last year, and they've got that big TE in their pocket if a good trade arises. They could bring in someone like Troy Murphy in February for rental help, as one example, and could get a 2nd rd or low first for their trouble.
They don't have much talent, but they do have established chemistry and a good rallying factor for this year.
I'd love to see them get the 8th seed, and I'd love to see them tear the Heat up Thursday.

Their whole team is injured as well.

To be fair, I'd say they would've broken this losing streak a long while ago had their players been healthy.

I made a bet in another thread with someone, can't find it though. I bet they would sneak into the playoffs... I was sure they were no where near this bad and thought they would get about 30-40 wins which seems to be enough to get 8th in the East, how wrong I was! I think I will tip the jar now, to whoever I made the bet with... nice victory!

Are you suprised? They have NO TALENT at all. They are starting guys who shouldn't even see a second of NBA action.

    Pretty sad for the Cavs.

I agree they, but they would still only be a 25-ish win team with a healthy lineup.

It goes hand in hand with a playoff run. During a playoff run, players will continue to play through some injuries with anti-inflammation, pain kilers and steroids. If an injury requires surgery, players will wait until the off season, if possible. On a playoff team, an ankle sprain might keep a player out 2-3 weeks on a lottery team 4-6 weeks.

David Robinson was healthy in the last 2 months of their lottery season before drafting Duncan. The Spurs were already eliminated from the playoffs, so they just let him rest up for the rest of the season to avoid reinjury.

I never thought this team sucked that bad. I expected to perform better... and to show that they are something without LBJ, but wow.. they suck bad.

To be fair, they have had a lot of injuries compared to last season...

No shaq, ilgauskas and varejao = horrible at 5th position.

There is no doubt that LBJ made everyone look better than they actually were.

P.S: I Still don't think they are as bad as they are playing. I know they have no talent is their biggest problem. Right now, 2nd biggest is they don't believe in themselves. Yesterday, as soon as 4 quarter started, they started turning over the ball crazy... missed layups.
