I heard that Frys in Clear Lake is scheduled to open up tomorrow...has anyone heard any concrete dates?
If you buy anything from them, make sure you open the package before you leave the store to be sure they aren't selling you a brick. On the opening, I don't know anything.
Agreed. A lot of their items have those tags on them, so make sure you check. I once took home 2 bad video cards from them before I got smart and picked up one of the non-tagged items.
True or not, I've heard that they continue to rebox and reshelve until someone doesn't return the defective merchandise. I've bought enough fm them to realize that a faor percentage of the returned stuff is defective.
If this is their thinking, it's still dumb...the state is building a new exit ramp that will run right in front of their building and pass through Webster and eventually merge back northward with Nasa Road One, somewhere in the vicinity of the NR1/Egret Bay/El Camino intersection. Which sucks because I come to work up FM270/Egret Bay to get into the Clear Lake area and they are supposed to shut down Egret Bay to one lane both directions.
Yeah...I guess that really ain't Sugar Land now that I think about it. It looks like a normal store to me, no concept like the Clear Lake or North I-45 store.

It used to be crystal clear, with the bottom covered with white oyster shells. It was destroyed by farming and agriculture run-off.
