I was just going home right now from school and i couldnt get to my house because Space Center Blvd. infront of Randalls and the old Abundant Life church was closed because of a crash. From what I can see a corvette hit a tree and it looks like the tree is sticking out from the middle of the car  anyone know anything? it looks really bad :(

Dang. I am about to head to Northfork to my parents house.

Haven't seen the crash you are talking about, but I hope everyone is okay.

I work right down the street from there. What color is the vet? A co-worker of mine drives a yellow one.

I saw the crash. My brother said there were multiple cars involved.

By the time I passed that church only the vette was left. It was dark so I couldnt see, but it was a dark color. Either mettalic blue or black.

Last thing I heard was it was a single vehicle accident...car spun out of control and hit a tree. Unconfirmed reports were that one person died. Someone was taken to Hermann by Life Flight...unknown if that is the same person who allegedly died or not. Haven't heard anything else since late last night.

I lost a friend to a carwreck in high school. If someone did indeed pass away, I wish the families my very best.

Car crashes are scary. There are times I find myself getting too relaxed driving, and I need to remind myself that you can really get hurt if you're not completely aware of yourself and the drivers around you. And sometimes even that's not enough.

Too true. I was being cautious (I had my daughter, who was a bit over a year old, in the 3rd seat of the van, strapped in like an astronaut), and got hit by a pickup truck that ran a red light. A tiny fraction of a second difference and one, or both of us, are dead or seriously maimed, instead of my daughter being fine, and me with 2 titanium screws in my back. The truck was doing at least 50. The idiot fool said he, "was in a hurry to get to Target, and I knew I was running the light, but I thought I could make it." If I hadn't been in shock, I would be in jail today for manslaughter. I was that angry.

Automobiles are inherently dangerous, because they are driven by human beings, who are inherently reckless, many of them. We need to all be careful. This sounds like a very bad accident. They happen too often.
