I like Tarantino but I'm not really excited about this. And it seems that the people that are just excited for a new Tarantino movie.

I think QT is a living deity; but I could see his particular style being viewed as a trivialization of the War. I do remember him getting snippets of bad press for Kill Bill's length and casting, though, and as far as I'm concerned that turned out perfectly.

Brad Pitt's accent sounds inauthentic and mocking.

    ^^ Agree about Pitt's accent.

Otherwise, I'm looking forward to this so far. Pulp Fiction, Reservoir Dogs and Kill Bill are some of my favorites.

Looks like another dumb over the top violent Tarantino flick -- Pulp Fiction was a loooong time ago.

Brad Pitt's character is supposed to be illiterate, hence the mispelling. Though, Quentin mispells and uses the wrong words himself in the script as well. Like using "excepts" instead of "accepts."

Tarantino stopped trying after Pulp Fiction. He'll have to do something to convince me this movie isn't a pile of garbage before I bother.

excepting grindhouse, all his movies post pulp fiction have been above average, much better than most garbage that's out there. i wouldn't equate not making as good a movie as pulp fiction to not trying.

I think Kill Bill 2 ruined something special in Kill Bill.

I always thought he should have edited them down to one film, cutting most of the boring dialogue out of KB2. it was slow and painful to watch, between Carradine and Thurman delivering QT's no longer witty dialogue. god it was painstaking for me.

First of all I think he said before he started making it that it not a serious WW2 flick, its a remake of a chessy 70's flick, so if things seem over the top that's the way he intended it. Personally I'm looking forward to it.

I think Tarantino is a badass and I love his style, like Stanley Kubrick I'll see anything that the man directs.. Even if Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise are in their movies..

This describes just about every movie he has made.

Grindhouse was total garbage. I wasted time watching it.

I can see Cruise, but Pitt? I guess you didn't like Fight Club, Snatch, Troy, Ocean's 11-13, Twelve Monkeys, etc.

Tarantino's part was the second half; Deathproof. I liked it because I don't think I've ever seen Kurt Russel play a villian. Rosario Dawson was hilarious and Vanessa Ferlito was just a tasty dish.

Should be interesting. I love Tarantino. Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs were so good I'll watch anything he makes. Even if he puts Brad Pitt in it.

    Tarantino is a genius....

    Pulp Fiction is a masterpiece.
KillBill 1-2 is western, eastern homage at its finest.
    RDogs is absolutely brilliant.
    Jackie Brown is classic.

How peeps knock these films is beyond me, If you
have seen ALOT of film, it is great entertainment
seeing the subtle references he throws in.......
