By the looks of the trailer, the movie doesn't look so bad, but I get the feeling this movie is going to be an epic fail.
Trent Reznor is doing the score for this movie, which should be cool. He was also in charge of the Lost Highway soundtrack, which is another of Fincher's films. I'm looking forward to seeing this flick. I've heard the book is really good.

You're mixing up David Fincher with David Lynch who did Lost Highway. If Fincher can work his magic like he did with Zodiac, this will be a good movie. Benjamin Button was good but slightly disappointing.
I've found myself really enjoying Timberlake's acting chops. He was great in Alpha Dog and Black Snake Moan.
When I first heard about a facebook movie, sounded terrible. Then I saw Fincher, one of my favorite all time directors, was attached. Hopes raised a bit. Then saw Aaron Sorkin was writing. Hopes raised even more. Trent Reznor scoring. Even more awesome. Still, a facebook movie? Can't be that good. First teaser, interesting. Second teaser, even better. First theatrical trailer- holy **** i absolutely must see this. didn't think i would ever say this, but i absolutely cant wait for the facebook movie. i dont care what the cast is, it looks great. Also, so I was at the midnight for inception, that trailer started, and i heard some groans and people saying "facebook? really?" and stuff like that, but by the end, the theater was speechless. (For the same theater, someone yelled "lame" after the charlie st cloud trailer and everyone laughed and agreed)
It really is a very compelling trailer. I think one of the best parts is the music. The choral arrangement of "Creep" is just so very good. Film editors should take note: THAT's how you get people interested in a movie.
