Crazy how Alejandro Inarritu was taking a victory lap for Birdman while, at the same time, making something even more difficult and innovative.
What makes this more difficult and innovative? Something about Leo's acting in that trailer that bothers me....I'm not sure he's a good casting for this one.
The decision to use only natural light and their location forced them to film this in small intense pieces over ten months. I can't wait to see it in a theater. I might stand up for the entire movie. Inarritu and Lubezki are quickly separating themselves from the pack.
