This will make a better business case than a movie. Central Casting and Intellectual Property better get some kudos at the next staff meeting.
Is this meant be a parody like the Brady Bunch movies? It looks like they decided to remake Back to School but then renamed the script to 21 Jump St instead.
There's another movie that didn't make any gd sense. I think since the show was solely about cops undercover in high school they can get away with it. Lotta broken dreams on that lot: DeLuise, Robinson-Peete, Nguyen, Grieco..
wow, i sure wish this had a different title. It's a completely different feel from the orginal show...not even close, but i guess that was a given once they gave the lead roles to those two. That being said, it looks like it can be an entertaining movie and Tatum's ****ty acting might actually work in this.

I was watching season three yesterday. it was the episode where the staff was trying to find receipts for all his expenditures. when Amy Poler's character said something like, "Ron, you only spent $48 on clothes last year?" my gut busted. reminded me of...well, me.
Now I would watch a movie of this. Not that bull**** the OP posted. ****ing Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum. McLovin should steal a cop car, handcuff those 2 bastards in the back, light the car on fire and drive it off a cliff.
I have to see this, I don't care how lame or corny it can be but I am a fan of the buddy cop genre.. Beverly Hills Cop/48 hours/ Lethal Weapon/Rush Hour/The other guys...
agree with the bold part. i laughed at a few spots in the trailer, but any thing other than 21 jump street would have worked. hell... no country for old men would have worked better.
Now if Tatum's character dies within the first 5 minutes like that one Steven Segal movie... the movie might be more bearable. I'll probably check this out during one of those slow afternoons...
Uh this movie is getting REALLY good reviews... 23 fresh 1 rotten 96 percent 7.7 average [urlhttp://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/21-jump-street-2011/[/url]
