Does anyone know Chuck's status for tonight's game? In the game story, it said his shoulder popped out. That doesn't sound good. Our interior defense has been suspect as is without Yao in the game. I wonder how we'll deal with this if Chuck misses significant time. It's time for Landry to step up. Maybe Dorsey gets a shot?
Without chuck, we gotta battle kman and camby with a struggling yao and scola. landry and dorsey will see substantial minutes.
I don't want to jinx it but it looked like his shoulder popped out or something...didn't he have shoulder issues at one time? DD
yes,to win Clippers,Yao must get back, real Yao,if Yao continues his abysmal status,we may possibly 0-3,take care
"Hayes fouled out with 2:46 left in overtime, with his left shoulder popping out on the collision..."
Crap, that is what I thought it looked like.....he needs to get that fixed......I guess we find out if Dorsey has it. DD
And that voilet palmer called an foul on chuck. it's a travesty she is allowed to officiate nba games.
Seriously. The elbow hook is devestating at all levels of the game. (it's my pick-up basketball go-to move). I hate to use a shaq example, but when he used to catch it low, people would just get out of the way because they didn't want an elbow to the face.
I'm glad you posted that, I only saw the first half and his defense was porous at best. I kept thinking back to Van Gundy and how he had to motivate Chuck to continually play d.
What's the time frame for whatever Chuck's injury is? Dislocated shoulder, popper shoulder, etc? I guess we definitely see if this Dorsey kid can ball or not now. Didn't quite want it to happen like this though.
Poor Chuck hope he gets better. Luis And Mandry's defense was pretty bad on Aldridge/Frye. Hayes physicality actually made Aldridge miss more shots. Good we have Hayes.
I agree Hayes is a top notch defender but it kills me when he takes a shot. Hayes should never be allowed to take jump hooks. Every hook i've seen him take this he's missed horribly. In the 4th Qtr Aldridge blocked his wide open layup (which was a momentum killer)... if that was Landry he would've took the rim down. He has to learn how to take it strong like Landry, but I don't think this is possible.
