That play right there was why I think this team can win it all. This team is full of heart and my next question is, when can we resign Ron-Ron for big bucks?

It was an impressive save, but I think it might have been our ball anyways if he just let it go. Who knows how the refs would have called it, though.

Kind of reminded me of that famous Rodman rebound, although not as cool.

Sure I think we can resign him, but I'm sure he will still shop around to see how much money he can get. He won't get a mega t-mac deal because the market sucks and owners aren't going to dish out a bunch of cash. Moreover, teams are still saving $ for 2010. The Knicks for example will probably sign Lee but let go of Nate.

Chuck Hayes is one of my all-time rockets favorites and I am not kidding. I do not know anyone else from this rockets lineup who has the mentality or athleticism to complete that save. That kind of save may appear nothing on the street, I actually saw someone doing that long time ago, but it is a completely different story when we are talking about a guy weighing 250 pounds or so. It take a lot to do that.

People talks about how marvelous a big shot at the last second of the game, save like this in my humble opinion deserves equal credit. And this save reminds me of the block-n-save by Carl Landry in last year's playoff. I am so glad that rockets have these competitors.

I hope Chuck will always be a rocket. He is one of the most underestimated players in the game.

at that point in the game with a good home crowd on a call that close? i think they just default to giving it to the home team that is behind. i was going to be pissed if they gave them the ball b/c you could see chuck wasn't out of bounds from the nice tv camera. luckily a ref conference went our way.

Love Chuck. He's definitely a worker. I love his defense. How many guys you know can consistently defend KG, Amare and Nowitski on any night?

    Rox fans should be proud.

So what was the call officially?

Chuck saved it, and they didn't call a foul. It should have been Lowry pushing it up the court, instead we had to use two timeouts to bring it inbounds because the refs blew the whistle.

Was it a foul that was changed after review?

    Or

An out of bounds play that was changed after review?

    Or something else?

That's true if its a relatively easy recovery. Chuck had to make a remarkable play to keep the ball in play and get it to a teammate. Either way, you're taking a chance.
