This video is awesome on so many levels, I can't even count them. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/hQekqTCHh7k"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/hQekqTCHh7k" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
From what I recall Bruce Lee was the one who got Chuck Norris into show business. That fight in Return of the Dragon is one of the all time great kung fu movie fights. Tsui Hark makes an homage to it in Double Team except with Jean Claude Van Damme, Mickey Rourke, Dennis Rodman, land mines and a whole bunch of tigers.
That's not Chuck's hair. That is the hair from Chuck's last victim. He roundhouse kicked it off his head and Chuck is wearing it like a badge.
Agreed on the first part. No special effects, no guns, no battlefield of 1000's. Just two guys dueling to the death, and it rocked. And from your brief description, I'm glad I never saw Double Team despite Tsui Hark being involved.
Well I happen to know a person who used to train under Chuck in California and also met Bruce Lee. Apparently in the Karate inner circles, Lee was a bit of a lightweight. Oh he was quick but very weak. His Movies were made to look like he was super-human. Lesser men than Chuck whipped Lee in actual competition. Although Lee hardly ever competed like most. His was always exibitions.
Chuck lost because he didn't have the beard of protection. <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZsHQZxIeVlQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ZsHQZxIeVlQ" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
bruce lee also helped launched the career of jackie chan. jackie was one of those scrubs getting beat up in "Enter the Dragon" obviously put chuck on the map too. bruce was the vernon maxwell of kung fu. like vernon gave the powers of clutchiness to robert horry, cassell, and elie. bruce did that for jackie and chuck. thanks heroes!
uh. yeah yup, bruce and vernon liked to punch people. your retort? classic late 90s song from cash money.
of course i had to throw a "Chuck Norris fact" A deal was once made between Chuck Norris and Bruce Lee during the filming of Enter the Dragon where Bruce would defeat Chuck in a fight. No one knows the conditions of that deal but Mr. Lee died “mysteriously” soon after leaving behind only one witness who claims there was a flash of light and a single roundhouse kick. that witness is now dead. by reading this, you have become a threat to Chuck Norris. if you cant see him right now, you may already be dead.
And you say that because you have proof its nor true or you just refuse to believe it? It is true whether you believe it or not. Bruce Lee was good but not as good as the movies made him out to be.
Jackie Chan would kick both their arses... all the while being drunk (drunken style).. and constantly warning, "I don't want trouble!"
You don't have much credible proof yourself. I heard someone who heard something who knew someone that sort of knew Chuck Norris doesn't cut it.
