I don't know if you guys are into Fantasy Basketball, but I had Marc Gasol as my starting center tonight. He has been on a tear as of late, but Hayes completely shut him down and made him his &*$^#! 3 points on 1/7 shooting?! My god! Hayes is by far the most underrated defender in the league!!
The thing Marc needs to learn is not to bring the ball down when he goes to shoot against smaller defenders, especially Chuck. Chuck Hayes may have the quickest and strongest hands in the league. He gets multiple strips per game without fouling, which takes incredible timing. I am honestly surprised that Marc has this bad habit because his brother Pau is one of the league's most fundamental post players and he always has the ball up high. Always.
I have chuck on fantasy team; I don't know if this speaks towards Chuck as a solid fantasy asset or towards my extreme weakness at the PF/C position. My other C/PFs are Al Harrington, Scola, and Ryan Gomes BTW.
Chuck CAN be a good fantasy asset, but you sir have an extremely weak front court; how do stay competitive in rebounds and blocks???
Fantasy does not exist outside of Yahoo. Everything else is crap. Free StatTracker... are you kidding me?
Scola is solid with the boards and I have a bunch players at the SF/SG position that give me about 6 boards a game. I don't stay competitive in blocks. I sacrificed blocks but my team gets tons of points, assists, and threes, but I know nobody cares about fantasy basketball unless there playing it, so I'll stop now.
He gets about two steals a game, and he is a decent rebounder at his position. He also will slightly help your FG% because he only takes high percentage shots, and he won't hurt your FT% much since he shoots so few.
Agreed. When chumps start talking about CBS Sportsline or trash like that, i just scoff my mighty scoff.
