    HUGE props to Chuck!

Elite role players can come in cold and make an impact.

Hayes is the definition of a hard-working, team-first basketball player.

Battier woulda blocked Roy's shot. Not to take credit away from Hayes, but Battier got to the ball on time.

The Rockets got bailed out on that charge call.

It was a foul on Battier.

I'd bump that thread from earlier this year about subbing Chuck in for Yao for defensive purposes, but no search available.

It paid off this game -- both Battier and Hayes made a terrific defensive play on that possession.

yeah, i had flashbacks of yao being outrebounded in the final seconds, then giving up a jumper to boozer.

I'm actually a Rockets fan, just being fair.

Spell stekcor backwards and tell me what it spells. Also figure out what "22" means with stekcor.

That play by Hayes and Battier is the wealth that JVG left for this team.

Then you must be one of those sadomasochistic fans that likes to root for the team to rebuild, which normally would be fine by me, but you picked the exact wrong play to do it on. There was no disputing that play: the Rockets knew EXACTLY what Portland was going to run, had Chuck out in front of that by a mile, and the slight hesitation Roy performed once he realized he was screwed allowed Battier enough time to swat that ball cleanly.

Now's not the time to be hatin', but even if you have to as some people just don't know how to stop, you are still entirely wrong on this one.

It'd be better to cry on a Blazers forum now.
