go to the Chronicle's website IMMEDIATELY

    http://houstonchronicle.com/

It has a picture of Barry Bonds with a caption that reads:

Hello, Babe — Barry Bonds hit his 714th career home run tonight against the Astros, tying Babe Ruth for second place on the all-time list. READ MORE

when you click on the article, it says, 404 Error. No such article. :D

They changed it to Oakland, but the article still doesn't exist.

i actually worked for them one summer as an intern and loved it. great experience. got to escort Robert Horry to the stage at Jones Plaza for a Believe It! rally right before the NBA Finals.

but i'm not a fan of what it's become since the Post left town. and i'm definitely not a fan of their new website design. and richard justice? well...

He did it today against Oakland ... just a simple slip - "Astros" or "A's" or "Athletics".

What I found funny was the front page of espn.com ... with the big "I CAUGHT YOU, BABE". Ugh. Seriously, I wonder how long the ESPN crack staff had sat around waiting to bust out that one. Good gosh.
