    Per Jonathan Feigen:

The rotation is not all that changed.

The Rockets' pregame Toyota Center video has been edited.

It had included the Tracy McGrady introductory press conference and the line, "I'm looking forward to great things happening in the City of Houston."

McGrady is still among the highlights. The Rockets, however, apparently decided to no longer tease with his promise of 'great things.'

I think that's just about it for T-Mac and the Rockets. What a crazy, crazy trip it's been.

Tmac, good riddence. I hope I never see him in a rocket jersey or a suit at the Toyota Center.

"McGrady is still among the highlights. The Rockets, however, apparently decided to no longer tease with his promise of 'great things.'"

Honestly, that line should have been edited out before the start of the season. After the "It's Time" campaign from last year didn't exactly pan out, it was time for a more modest posture.

Yeah, but the point is that you couldn't edit that part out while T-Mac was still in Houston.

I guess that statement was getting a little too funny.

The Rockets finally figured it out. Take McGrady out of the building and the Rockets will win, now they are even going as far as taking him off of the videos lol. What's next? Rip down the posters in the building, have a voodoo priest come in and rid us of the T-mac curse and we can move on. 2nd round playoffs here we come. And I can't say it enough, thank god Rafer is gone!

interesting that they took it out...

even more interesting is you figure someone from the team told Feigan about it so he would mention in his blog.

i dont think the team is still sold on Mcgrady and his need for surgery. If anything I would think this is a sure sign that they will try to move him by this time next year

    It is time...

They had 5 years to prove fans wrong but NOTHING has happend. T-Mac will have to be traded. He just needs a new environment and the Rockets need to move on without him.

I am not in a rush to trade him. I doubt anyone would want to trade him anyways. Considering he will not get one minute of playing time before the trade deadline, and expiring contract were POOR sellers this season, I bet we just Starbury him and let him explore free agency.

Next year is a different case.. all teams trying to enter the 2010 sweepstakes will definitely try to get Mac.. so the value of an expiring contract next year is HUGE .

and you are right.. in case he isnt traded... I'm sure he will be starburied..

if only he had handled this situation better..

I mean...Tmac has to hear all the stuff said about him...it's pretty much nationally agreed upon now that the Rockets play much better without him...so he either rehab's correctly and comes back strong (for another team) or he does what he usually does...doesn't rehab correctly and sits on his *** for the rest of his career watching the Rockets.

They Rockets will be definetly look to get something good for McGrady next year. His expiring contract will be BIG and I am sure Houston can get a good player in exchange.

Rush? Of course, we shouldn't rush. T-Mac is now doing the best thing for his carrer. We will want to play next season to show that he still has something left (after the surgery) in order to earn some money after 2010.

The thing is, Yao&T-Mac era is DONE, well, at least it should be.

I doubt the Rockets do to him what New York is doing to Marbury. If that were the case they wouldn't have tried to trade him Vince Carter. By the way, I owe AntiSonic a HUGE apology. This crap that McGrady put us through speaks volumes about him. He's going to have to do a lot to make up for it.

I just hope that Tracy realizes the problem is with him. I mean, at some point you need to do some serious self reflection. Toronto got tired of him. Orlando got tired of him. A lot of the fans here were extremely forgiving, even when it wasn't necessarily deserved. Even earlier in the season people were willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

Glad the Rockets are committed to moving on.
