Cuz if I got Yao, I don't need money, I don't need cars...

I just want to see McGrady play again. There's nothing left for this season except maybe developing the young guys a bit and watching McGrady play (granted I'm not from Houston and I'm sure many Houstonians are fed up with T-Mac).

T-Mac is the only thing to look forward to.

As a fanatic, I'd always hoped the Rockets would do well. But as a rational being, I didn't expect too much from the Yao(less) + T-Mac(less) Rockets. To me, failed expectations bring to mind the Twin Towers. With all due respect, the failed Yao-TMac experiment is meh compared to the downfall of the TTs. Honestly, when it is understood to be somewhat of a success to just get out of the first round, expectations as collective mass couldn't be that high.

I agree about developing the young guys, but being a Houstonian, many of us are completely through with him as a player. We do not want to see him play here again.... ever.

Now, I don't speak for everyone in Houston. There is a sect that does want him to play here in Houston again, but the majority would rather he go his own way and the team go another.

I agree, right now the only exciting thing for us next year is too se how well Tmac will do when he/if he comes back. Its going to be interesting.

    Just play good defense.

That way, even if we get torched by the superstars, it will be entertaining
    watching those guys earn it.

10 decent games from him to even further boost his value would be nice.

It would, but do you actually think he would boost his value in 10 games? He could spend an entire year playing well and teams still wouldn't trade much of value for him considering, despite how he is doing at that moment, he has missed much of the last 3 years or so.
