Toyota Center is offering behind-the-scenes tours every Friday in June and July. The tours start every hour between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. Just show up, no reservations necessary.

A smiling Toyota Center ambassador will show you amazing features of the majestic arena that the public rarely sees: Yao Ming's locker, the arena floor, the visiting team's clubhouse, backstage, luxury suites, restaurants and the trophy room.

Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for kids under 12.

That sounds pretty interesting. I will probably try to go and see all the cool things in the Toyota center. :D

Hmm, $7 to get in? Might have to reconsider. :p

I don't honestly get the idea of arena tours.

Have said that, here is a big flip-flop.

Just today I went on a tour of Madison Square Garden. Why? I do not know. I was in the area and I figured why not since I heard they have tours. Nothing special, really but neat to check out the view of courtside seats and a sky box. And it was an open practice with some of the freakishly large Liberty players walking by in the hallway. (And everyone collectively doesn't give a **** about them; Who Got Next???)

I'll stick with ballpark tours, thank you.

This was something that was requested from fans from day 1. They have tours of Minute Maid and Reliant as well.
