That's how the last play went. Thugleavy made a good read and owned the Rockets.

Well that makes two plays in one spurt that I didn't think Dunlady was capable of doing: the aggressive and-1 putback then this last shot play where he's showing his defensive awareness.

The Whole Stadium knew we were gonna give head the last shot. really should have used head as a decoy for someone like battier to take the shot. dosent matter now. as they say, cant cry over spilt milk.

I think you were looking for a slightly different saying...

    :D

Either way, I'm surprised at this. When leaving the huddle I saw Van Gundy pull Luther and Yao back over to him to discuss something and it looked to me like (with his hand movements) he was telling Yao "you're going to tip it back to Luther". I couldn't believe it because I figured there's no way to tip it with 1.2 seconds left and get it to Luther in time to get a shot off. Especially not with a road clock operator.

I suppose they must work on these scenarios in practice and know more about the timing than I do, but it seems nearly impossible.

They only got 6 offensive rebounds and we got 18. It was the last one that counted.
