http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/bk/bkn/7276349.html This is the real problem that needs to be solved. We have actually had this problem for a few years now.
Rocket need full time starting center, not part timer Yao. Trade Yao to Clippers for Kaman, who is a full time player. Yao goes to a city where he will be a draw for the large population of Asians. Kaman goes to a city where he will be a draw for the population of large Caucasians. Perfect solution!
WIN and than we can concentrate fully on trashing AB!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!! Where is Captain Jean Luc Picard's picture.
I am honestly curious about Yao's trade value, not saying ship the guy out tomorrow but considering the foot issues and time restrictions...how much or what can we get for him at this point?
As I said, it is a make or miss league, so far the other team has made, and we have missed. Simple as that. In the Lakers game....we had them, and let them off the hook when role players got hot from 3pt range. In the GS game - Our guys were exhausted and Ellis was on fire, which he has since come back down to earth on.... In the Denver game - Our 3pt shots were off, we hit even 33% of them in that game and we win going away..... This team is not as far off as folks think but we do need some wins before it snowballs away. DD
This really has been a problem for a few years now. Very frustrating. If basketball games were only 3 quarters we'd have 70-12 records each of the last two, or three, seasons.
Exactly. It's somewhat amazing how an 0-3 start to an 82 game season could really hurt a teams image with the league and the fans. Just think what 0-4 would do.
It would mean nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it would still cause an uproar unlike any we have seen yet.
Is it a coincidence that "the system" always stops working in the fourth quarter and we don't have a closer? Simply put, a collection of good players without a superstar to take over can't take you all the way. Don't forget that Adelman, through his most successful stints had clyde drexler or Chris webber
It's as simple as this - our offense works until the opposing defenses tighten up and turn up the pressure in the 4th QTR. Then Adelman's offensive issues are exposed as we do or die on the only shot we really are given - rushed 3 pointers. What we need is guys who can drive and dish. Since we have no playmakers anymore - no one that can cause defenses to scramble and create open looks for other players, our offense shuts down.
we are adelman team but it conflicts when theres 1 particular player that doesn cut, slash or moves from that spot. This guy the "leader" is giving other instructions for players to do(opposite of adelman), therefore causing an identity crisis. Guess who it is.
I'm starting to think all this stated when Adelman became head coach. I didn't want to say it, but it had to be said.
Open your eyes, the guy you're refering to is the one passing to the guys cutting and slashing...the ball isn't going to pass itself to 5 moving players.
