I like what you did there. This McGrady situation was old years ago. Hopefully it ends soon with us in an even better situation.
Has anyone else stopped caring what Feigen has had to say? It seems like all of his columns are just PR stunts nowadays.
Everything that was mentioned in this article has been stated in every thread, either through video interviews, transcript of interviews, or other sources. Honestly, this thread should be merged with the many other McGrady threads since there is no new information.
This article does seem to say that the issue is more that T-mac isn't really ready rather than the organization iso'ing him. Turner seems to be saying he's looking better and he's now in training camp mode which would mean that he's within 6 weeks of returning. That's about the original time-table for his return. I honestly think it's in T-mac's best interest that he doesn't return for another 6 weeks. He may be ready to play and be 80% - but for his own sake - for his own brand, for the team, and for everyone including the fans - and t-mac fans too... The best thing is if he return 99% or better. T-mac, wait until New Years.
Or maybe T-Mac is iso'ing the Rockets. Maybe T-Mac and the Rockets are iso'ing each other? Rick Adelman skipped practice yesterday. Now are the Rockets, T-Mac, and Rick Adelman all iso'ing each other? Is this the first ever three-way iso?
Now that he has gone to practice, we can stop talking about practice. Because you know, we talking about practice man.
The way Turner handled his repsonses is the way it should have been handled from the beginning. Adelman may or may not actually want T-mac back but his public comments have been vague and rather offputting. That's where the controversy comes in. As I've said, this should have been such a non-issue because there's really no reason that you're $20 million player should be blasted for wanting to return. Tracy is very open with his comments but he's not exactly rattling the cage with what he's said.
