I wonder why Landry and Brooks are staying. I don't see Brooks getting any PT over SF3 who is riding the pine as well.. and Landry's only chance is if Chuck or the Scholar gets injured.

 

because adelman likes brooks and i think he thinks he can help us.

 

actually its probably b/c brooks is a rookie. now if he's still behind a glut of guards next year he'll go to the d-league.

I would be perfectly fine with sending Brooks and Landry too.

 

I really don't understand the reasoning for not sending themto D-League.

 

I can't lie I would love to see Landry in spot duty one night, maybe let him come in when Scola goes straight to back up center. That form on that outside shot and accuracy is definately worth a look see. Who would I put on inactive roster, Kirk Snyder.

 

Landry is in case of injury. You want to have depth for front court always.

But you can call them back at anytime. The only limit is the number of times you can send them to the D-League; 3 times. We should send them at the beginning of the season and call them up as needed.

15 man rosters suck.

My hope is that, as the D-League and the NBA expand, an actual minor league system will develop so that we don't see "potential" players rotting at the end of the bench or "growing" through getting pounded in the NBA. Similar to baseball's (also related, minor and major league contracts to help with cap space). Then we wouldn't have to cut Mike Harris but could assign him to the minor's. We might still have the rights Kelenna Azubuike. The NBA draft could be expanded and an NBADL league could be started on other continents and countries. Then, before you know it, the NBA rules the world... wait. No. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA!

 

id like to see that too, snyder is useless with all the guards we have, + more pf depth would be nice

 

It's about time he does something... Novak has been collecting dust on the bench these 2 years... Glad to hear he gets to play...
