    With his playing time scarce and time running out on his contract, Rockets guard Luther Head was waived on Saturday to beat the deadline for players to be eligible for the postseason.

    Head will likely be replaced on the roster by high-scoring NBA Development League forward James White of the Anaheim Arsenal. The Rockets were close to signing White to a 10-day contract, a person with knowledge of the move said on Saturday, and White was held out of Saturday’s game.

    He must really suck. He'll be the most athletic player in the league and yet only on a 10 day contract.

    James White "The Flight!" YES!!!! This guy can jump from free throw line and do windmills and between the legs dunks. Was drafted by Spurs then cut a year or two ago.

    Wow this team looks so different now it's crazy.. I'm ready for some highlights baby.. Yes his fundamentals are to be questioned but man does he have ups.

    He is scoring 26 ppg on 55 % in D-League. I know it s d-league but still.

    And... Luther Head isn't here anymore. What did you expect Gilbert Arenas lol we got a D-League guy that averages 26 points a game.

    So does this mean Brooks has disappointed? I doubt Lowry has been anything less than the team expected.

    White is a 6-7 swingman. Not sure where Brooks or Lowry comes into play.
