Moochie's No. 1 in the duck parade By KEN HOFFMAN Copyright 2002 Houston Chronicle The Houston Rockets gave away limited-edition Moochie Norris "Celebriducks" at last week's game against the New York Knicks. The first 5,000 fans got rubber-ducky bath toys that looked like the Rockets' point guard, complete with Moochie's wild hair and shower cap. Good thing they included the shower cap. Moochie's 'fro down the drain could stop up Hoover Dam. Celebriducks are hoping to become the next Beanie Babies. Remember how collectors were spending bizarre money buying and selling the tiny stuffed animals? The Rockets game ended at 9:45 p.m. I got home at 10:15 p.m. Already there were 20 Moochie Celebriducks for sale on eBay. The top price was $23. Considering how the bottom fell out of the Beanie Baby market, you'd have to be quackers to pay $23 for a Celebriduck. The next Celebriduck giveaway is Feb. 2 with Yao Ming. That would be No. 11 from Column B on the menu: Peking Duck.
Peking Duck is very good. I bet you could sell Ming's for quite a lot. Even more one day. Since its at the beggining of his carrear.
