    ROCKETS NOTES
McGrady reports knee pain; Hayes rejoins starters
Rockets swingman Tracy McGrady said he was hit on the outside of both knees during Monday's game, causing him to struggle around the court much of the night.

McGrady made just 10 of 32 shots but said his poor shooting was not caused by his knees.

"I was paying so much attention, any time I put pressure on either one it was really bothering me," he said. "But that definitely wasn't the cause of why I played so badly. "

that's why he didn't penetrate as much. he got kneed on both knees so if he kept driving, it hurts. so might as well shoot. sure it hurt us, but he was the one who got us back in the game. so he atoned for his bad night somewhat.

Yah..think about how Jake throws his 290lbs right on the star player on the other team, as long as it's not Shaq.

no kidding...the article just illustrates that Mcrady is going through some wear and tear as the season winds down. I am sure he will get his second wind as the season winds down..and playoffs approach. I found the info to be worthy to note...

Shane took out Dwade; we just need him to take out Dirk, Nash, Duncan. The title should come to us by then.

There is no one that has been in the league for 10 years that isn't suffering from some sort of knee pain.

Then what was the cause? Because Yao was back in the lineup? Maybe it's just me, but the supposed 1-2 punch never seemed to click together, even though our record was good when both played.
