i'm just watching this team for luis scola right now. he's the only player i get excited watching every game.

trade anyone except for scola for all i care.

and the problem is you cant blame just one person. its almost everyone, except for maybe scola and wafer, even yao's numbers have been down. tmac and artest are playing about 35% of their potential.

This quote gives me hope "Yao remains untouchable. After that, Monday might be the last bit of evidence needed for Morey to most value those who most reliably play with heart and determination". Because maybe Morey will stop number crunching and just actually watch the chemistry out on the court and what is really needed on this team. We need team players not me players.

Scola, Yao, Wafer, Mutumbo, and Landry are the only guys on this team I would even consider keeping. Everyone else should get ready to be dealt.

yao is untouchable primarily b/c of his china's ties. yao is a very good player and a very hard worker and i admire that. but you have to be delusional to think a team with yao as the main guy can win a championship.

tracy looks like he's done. i don't care what the team will do with him now. his mind is just elsewhere right now and i don't see it coming back this season. him and artest seem like to be doing something where thye can't play well together in one game.

we need a REAL legitimate superstar on this team soon. it doesn't have to be this year. but if we want to win, we gotta have a legit superstar here real soon. yao is not that. tracy is done being that. ron was never that.

right now, i just want to develop our young players and hopefully we get a superstar in 2010 or off of a trade.

As bad as Hinrich is compared to his pay, he still shoots much better than Rafer on 2's and 3's. He's an expensive upgrade, but still an upgrade.

The only difference from last year is McGrady's decline and Ron Artest coming in. Looks to me Artest for all his likeable tougness traits just isnt bringing ANY sense of cohesion to this team. Not gonna say cancer, but he's helped with the mental disarray.

Pass on Wafer, Mutombo, and Landry. Wafer no D. Landry undersized. Mutombo too old.

I'm not saying they have to trade the guy, but scola or landry has to go. I'm not blaming them, but just as we've seen more than enough, neither can guard the charlie v,tim thomas,al harrignton, odom type of 4 men. I don't mind having 1 both not both and since I think Landry has more upside, I would keep him and trade scola in a package to get players.

i don't care what needs to be done. BRING A LEGIT SUPERSTAR TO HOUSTON ASAP.

i want players that other teams fear. the opposing arena's get psyched up to see and buzzing every time we visit. i want the opponents to say when we come to play, "uh oh, that guy is coming."

right now, we don't have any of that.

again, it doesn't have to be this year or next. but we need to have a plan in mind to try to find a way to bring that guy here.

god hakeem spoiled us so much.

    Career %'s :

    Alston - FG 38.5% 3PT 35.6%
    Hinrich - FG 41.4% 3PT 37.6%

Minimal upgrade which a bad contract. Not worth it imo.

this year is over with. we're not going to win a championship. you cannot turn a season around with 20 games or so. this is not the NFL where you can get hot and turn the tables b/c you don't just play one playoff game. you play a 7 game series.

just plan for better things in the future. as a fan, that's all i want morey to do. have a plan to get a superstar in a few years and i'm willing to be patient. as long as the organization has a plan, i'm all for it.

but consider how many 3's rafer takes are actually wide open - since he got here.

i doubt that's the case for hinrich.

to be honest, screw the chemistry. we don't have it anyway. at this point, any thing makes us better, i'd take. just to salvage the season. we fans have been waiting for too long.

i don't know, it's morey's job to do it. but i want one soon. right now, we don't have a legit superstar.

is granger free anytime soon? or durant? both are purely scorers right now (already dominating at it), but slowly developing their all-around game. in a few years, they'd be great all-around players.

cuz we sure ain't gonna get lebron, james, or wade. c'mon morey, show me what you got.

Last time I checked, people seriously consider Rockets being a contender with Yao being the #1 guy on the team IF TMac is healthy AND Ron fits in well.
So you are saying all those people are delusional?
It's not Yao's fault that TMac is done. Get over with it.

Why? I mean, he'd be a huge upgrade over what we have. It's not the only trade I'd try to make, but it's the first trade I'd try to make.
