http://www.chron.com/cs/CDA/ssistory.mpl/sports/2948283 Les finally says something, nothing big, but I hope he figures out that things are bad and don't look like they are getting much better.
So the article says that Alexander betrayed no loss of faith in Van Gundy, and from that you guys deduce that Alexander has lost faith in Van Gundy?
drop the logic Stupid Look sharks with laser on their fricken heads there that should distract them from a logical post like yours
Oh, come on. Feigen's always going to put a happy face on whatever he's writing about. He never criticizes anyone, because he has to go back there and get the interview again the next time. Feigen = sunshine pumper. This is an article about fans booing the team, and record low attendance. It gives the owner a chance to say "Hey, don't blame me. I thought I hired a good coach." Well, you didn't. Suck it up and do what's necessary. Time to pay the price for YOUR bad decision. Fire JVG now. He's not only bad, he's made things worse. CD can clean out his desk, too. Security will see you out.
just because he said van gundy is a good coach dosn't mean he want replace him.alot of good coach have been replaced in the past.he just isn't right for this group and the sad thigs is these are the players he wanted.
Keep up the booing. Maybe Les will spend some of his money to get us some players. JVG can always be canned later if needs be. Sadly despite the article it is probably easier for Les to blame JVG first and see how another coach can do before he willl exceed the cap and go get some players.
The rockets are already over the cap. The money has been spent to get players, look up and down the roster. It doesn't necessarily mean they're paying all the right guys but nevertheless they've spent the money.
Here's a replacement for CD : Rick Sund of Seattle. http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/sports/2002120014_soniglance15.html We could fire CD midseason at the same time as JVG, use a staffer and the replacement coach to handle the phones until summer, then pick up Sund the day his contract expires. Sund has done a good job transforming Seattle from a scramble team on the decline featuring Gary Payton to a running, shooting machine featuring Allen and Lewis. He's really hampered by the owner and the stadium deal, but he's found talent on the cheap and mixed it up as best he could.
First of all, if the rox continue to show no improvement over this supposed easy part of the schedule then I am sure one of two things will happen. Either Les will fire Gundy or Gundy will quit. (OK This is what I hope will happen...) Second, Pasox said something about this being the day that players are able to be traded... Which players are now able to be traded and why? Thanks...
Thank God these guys finally speak. The silence was deafening. I was beginning to think they didnt care.
Dec. 15 is when the rookies and alot of the free agents become available to trade. ( ie: players can't be traded within 60 days or so of signing thier contracts)
The fans are voting to get rid of JVG, as more and more of the Toy box becomes empty because the brand of ball is boring and the team lackluster, Les will be forced to deal with the number one problem. JVG. DD
Basically, Les said that he thought he hired a great coach based on the PAST winning percentage of .577, and JVG did a great job last year. This year has been terrible, far below anyone's expectation. So he told us about the fact happened in the past, also realized JVG is underperform so far this season, and he is not happy about it. He think JVG can turn this thing around with time, but wasn't sure when. So this is about a race of patience vs timing. Let's wait and see which one comes on top.
