You mean people attempt to hold this guy accountable for his mindless drivel?

It's awesome how he's whining about it like a little girl.

    Pansy. Can't write, can't argue.

I love it when writers try to make themselves part of the story. McClain and Justice do this regularly.

Why does Justice feel the need to make up a dialogue in every single article he writes? He's not paid to write stories.

Really! Nobody cares about you. You just write. We care about the people you write about. You are just a pen and ink.

It's funny cause Justice writes as if A) Garner gives a damn about him or his opinions and B) has the time to talk with him in his office about his columns.

The Chronicle sucks compared to newspapers of other major cities. Richard Justice sucks. He acts like he is some kind of insider of Roger Clemens. His columns suck. Lopez isn't any better.

I love it. I love how he writes. Columnists are supposed to add emotion and opinion and RJ does it better than anyone else.

My guess is that Dave Raymond has somehow made more friends on the team in his short tenure here than Justice has in his several years. This column is some sort of childish retribution. I can't stand Justice.

The first half of that article could be Justice's worst...and that's saying a lot. However, I did think the last half of the article wasn't all that bad. Some good points.

    You mean b****ing and moaning?

b****ing, moaning and drivel I'll give you. Good journalism, no.

Richard Justice's "columns" are an embarassment to the great city of Houston.

it doesn't feel like real columnist writing, though. the little conversations he always peppers in. the adding himself in as a major player to all of these events. man..seriously...it reminds me more of my high school paper. i'm being completely serious. high school articles always have some focus on the writer, himself....because it's a high school kid using his 15 minutes of fame. but a sports columnist for THE paper in the 4th largest city in america???

The Chronicle sucks, period. Don't get me started on Justice. He's hot trash.

If anyone wants to see a real paper within state, just check out the Dallas Morning News...thats a great paper and has respected columnists (Kevin Blackistone, Tim Cowlishaw) and a great NBA beat writer (Eddie Sefko, who actually used to cover the Rockets)...it's SAD to see how poor our paper is in relation...

And, no, Justice doesn't write. He talks. There's a difference. He blathers. His columns often have NO substance at all.

What an embarassing representation of Houston
