I haven't really watched Paul George play. I hope he doesn't turn out to be the next Jermaine Taylor if the Rockets do use the pick on him. Like the fact that they're eyeing for Cousins though. Morey must really like him.
I share the same worries, and given how some scouts have mentioned Cousins attitude problems and lack of drive, I'm extremely worried if he can fully make the transition onto our team. I don't know who to draft to be honest. I like Sanders but his stock doesn't seem high enough to warrant our draft pick.
As long as that needs two of the wings are being traded, we have too many already, and it's redundant to have this guy and C-Bud unless the plan is to get rid of Jeffries,Battier, and Ariza and move C-Bud to the starting 3 and George to the backup.
I'm not necessarily saying it should be George but I agree. No point in overfilling position unless a trade is eminent. A trade will go down. It may or may not bring a superstar but some type of shake up will happen. But I think its safe to say that if we do end up with George, one of our wings will be moved.
disagree. we should take the best player available w/o qualification. if our pick pans out we can address the positional gluts later. we should only consider position needs if the draft evaluation is a 'toss em'.
Please NO! He is the quintessential example og very good college player... very average pro. His athleticism and siz is better than 95% of the players he played against in college. In the pros he will just average and that is not a compliment.
Says Kahn with two pfs and 3 pgs, no C and no sg/forward worth mentioning. You also have to take into account that other positions are much harder to fill and may require more value than they are worth.Its hard to find good value for C-bud or Ariza since good sfs are a dime a dozen in the league.
