From today's Chronicle, if this has already been posted, my apologies.

Cooper signs with Stealth -- Former Comets star Cynthia Cooper
has signed to play with the Houston Stealth of the National Womens
Basketball League in 2004. Cooper was the Stealth's first pick in the
six-team NWBL draft on Dec. 6th. The 2004 NWBL schedule runs from
    January through March.

So, this makes me wonder if the Coop is still going to be doing the
games for the Rockets this year? Will she be able to play a pro
schedule for 3 months in the middle of the NBA season and still be able
to be at the Toyota Center for every Rockets game and do the haltfime
    and postgame shows?

I would be surprised if she was still able to do both..

So maybe she is not much longer to be causing such agony for us all,
    eh?

They need to just bring Bullard on a full time basis. The dude has everything it takes for the job.

OK, someone enlighten me. What IS the the National Women's Basketball League? Is that an even worse version of the WNBA? You've got to be kidding me.

Yeah, NWBL? WTF? the market can't even support one womens league without huge subsidies from the NBA, much less two.

Wow, the best news we'll get this season is that Cynthia Cooper won't be on TV any more...how sad. :(

If she's still wanted to play basketball, then why she retire from WNBA in the first place?

I can't wait to see Bill suit up in one of Calvin's clown suits. That should get some waves started around here.
