Another great article about our Chuck. http://www.chron.com/disp/story.mpl/sports/justice/6706326.html
Chuck is benefiting greatly now that we are running Rick's movement offense almost to the T. He actually has some type of an offense, which is a huge surprise.
Chuck Hayes is getting more respect as the best post defender in NBA. Refs are gonna let him get away more with the ticky fouls. This guy has truly earned it. Maybe he can get defensive player of year eventually.
Unless Chuck pulls down 15 rpg he won't be even considered all nba defense C. Dwight, Duncan, Garnett will be infront of him

Henry Abbott getting in on it: http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/10419/world-please-notice-chuck-hayes
Yeah, you really have to dig through all the star-studded crap on ESPN to find something on the Rockets. Fortunately, I utilized the "Search" function.
Or Perhaps this? http://espn.go.com/blog/truehoop/post/_/id/10419/world-please-notice-chuck-hayes "Steals: Hayes ranks 2nd (out of 303 players; behind only Rajon Rondo) in the entire league in Steal%" "Charges: (Offensive Fouls Drawn per defensive possession) Since 2008 Hayes is top 10 (6th out of 265) in the entire league in drawing offensive fouls."
Holy crap. The numbers in that article are crazy! Best Defensive Efficiency Rating in the ENTIRE LEAGUE since 2005?!
I am soo happy that we will be able to see the Chuckwagon doing his thing for the rockets at least until 2011
By the way, if people are interested, charges taken stat is at Hoop Data, in my signature, going back a number of years.
