Fran is such a special writer. If you read his blog often, you know he's got some great talent in writing.
So this is his attempt of his writing of statement of independence for the Rockets? All over the places.
i actually kinda like his sarcastic style. fran is a damn good writer imo. and he's well respected within his professional circle.

I agree, I have no idea why some people here dont like him, I guess they prefer bland writing from Jonathan Feigen and millions of other sports writers. Fran is unique, he is always creative and funny. Sometimes he might overdo it but I would rather read that then some boring updates.
man whats up enough with the Bandwagon crap! You JUST joined yourself! We have more people jumping on the rockets bandwagon, TMac bandwagon, Rafer Wagon, here than anywhere else. But who cares as long as we are all supporting the rockets.
oh if you are a true fan, I am sure we get frustrated and diss the Rockets and TMac every now and then. Thats what fans do, criticize. Like thet say, you shouldn't worry when fans are getting mad, you should only really worry when fans stop caring. You expect Rockets to lose to the crappy Sixers and for a fan not to criticize them?
That's funny, because I get stones thrown at me from both sides of the fence. I'm usually the guy who defends the fans right to criticize and I would never have said the Rockets didn't deserve criticism -- I would have joined in. But some of the statements in there were beyond that. Blinebury has made a name for himself mocking the fans for being knee-jerk reactionaries... in fact one day he did nothing but that, acting like his version of a stereotypical fan on his blog. Frankly, he deserves this one.
It was a justifiable blog considering the disaster that game was. Those were my feelings on that night. It simply isn't the same team any more. I like Fran. He tells it how it is and he was right on that night. No one could have predicted that debacle would begin the transformation of the Rockets.
