Who would have thought, after the past couple years, Yao would be the one star that is not injuried? With our luck, by the time we get McTest back, Yao goes down.
Im glad its a bone bruise and not a facture. When I saw pictures of him in the boot I was having flash backs to last year.
I think this is a good situation. It's only really 6 total games, then hopefully they wont miss any more games. Six games - Artest and Mac will be back. I'm not too worried about it.
I am OK with that. If he would be in and out again, it is better to sit him for a long as he needs to. We need him back HEALTHLY
6 or 10 if the need to, I don't really care. But we need them back at 100% and ready. Not 80, not 90, not even 99%.
Well at least with Artest if he is on the court regardless the dude will play hard.. I.E. the Boston game.
I wonder how the Rockets can hold up with Ron and T-Mac being out at least two weeks. Their next two weeks look like this: Jan 13 Lakers @home Jan 17 Heat @home Jan 19 Denver @home Jan 21 Jazz @home Jan 23 Pacers on the road Jan 25 Pistons on the road Jan 26 Knicks on the road The Rockets could lost pretty much every game.
Sure but playing with heart is one thing, and being healthly is the 2nd one. You gotta be healthly to play, and even if he leaves everything on the court, I would still sit him until he is 100%.
just sit out this team has enough to avoid a long losing streak and stay close to that #2 seed that should be the goal at this point. Sit both of them out 2 weeks, Wafer and Barry get more minutes it's simple
We need to win 3 of these games and we'll be fine. If we can do that without two of the big three - then heck, we're still a very good team. I think we can do that.
Much better news than them deciding to play through it and come playoff time miss games due to not resting the injury.
