Ron Artest really needs to shut the hell up. Same goes for Rafer.. <br> Just do your job, and let the coach do his (keep the players in check)
T-mac says the locker room isn't like it used to be. Battier says the locker room is the same as it has always been.
i see nothing out of line with what ron said because he's right. until everybody is hold accountable for their actions, the team will get nowhere. sometimes a little tough love goes a long way. to some extent, it should have stayed in the locker room and artest is at fault with that. but, it isn't unlikely that adelman told tracy the same thing behind closed doors.
Our team chemistry is gonna be fine. If someone separates themselves too far, they're gone. Now, our defense needs work..or at least consistancy.
only when yao ming becomes the leader of this team, rockets will be championship bound.. better sooner than later
I would like to see Tracy McGrady its own changes, rather than to remind his teammates, but he is old like before
I'm really really hoping that all of this is just minor. I perfectly understand what Ron was saying, and yet I also understand why Tmac might take exception to that, but it's nothing major (hopefully).. you see them out there on the court high fiving each other and having a lot of fun.. I mean, there isn't a single locker room that is perfectly smooth.. we had unbelievably high expectations, we underperformed, and it's the natural reaction for players to be frustrated and sorta point fingers just to blow off steam.. now let's get our business together and get on a good run to end the season.. it seems like the only logical ending to all of this mess.. package away Luther and maybe a pick for a reliable 3rd PG in case Brooks/Alston act up, and we should be set.. we have so much depth it's not even funny. We have people that could start on any team in the NBA and yet they're not even in our rotation (Barry, Wafer, etc).. we just need to focus on basketball, what's so hard about that?
How about the entire team? <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/CRS_v9_rUbg&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/CRS_v9_rUbg&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Before Artest says anything about Tmac's defense, maybe he should be talking about his repeated isolation plays on offense that go nowhere. Or maybe he should talk about his love for the fadeaway 3 point shot that never goes in. Or even the fact that his defense this year has been terrible compared to how he normally plays. Although I do agree, what he said was hardly a call out. There is no reason to single out a player when every person on this team has major faults despite having major strengths as well.
what about tmac? the only person i see who always gets out of line with his interviews is rafer. adelman should ban rafer from doing interviews. ron's comments on the other hand, has always been taken out of context. so ill give him a pass.
Chill chill chill about Rafer. Rafer has never said anything out of line. He has never named names. Now if you want to insert a name in there for Rafer than fine but let's not act like he has a history of calling guys out.
r u really that dumb? players call out the entire team ALL the time its standard talk when a team loses a game or does not do well and its standard sustitute for calling individual guys out what u should never do is point to a single player by name cause that means ur saying the guy u bring him his name to the fore is the scapegoat and u and the entire team is an innocent bystander only rafer and artest have been guilty of that this year and adelman is coming out now saying people need to hush and keep the finger pointing in the locker room and away from media. if rafer and artest dont listen they will splinter the team and things will get much much worse in a new york knicks sorta way
i am perfectly fine with what they said, coaches arnt the only people that need to keep the players in line, its players job too
I don't mind Rafer blasting the team in the press. He's right. I don't mind Artest blasting Tmac in the press. He's right. Not that Artest is perfect either, but the team often follows Tmac's lead. And Tmac is awfully damn lazy sometimes. Of course Tmac thinks the team is talking too much. They're all talking about him. Sack up, Tmac, and the problem might just go away.
