File this one under, Adelman brings Shane off the bench to match up with Ginobli. I guess technically a "change in rotation", but as its just for a game I see it more as a defensive scheme for the Spurs.

He should be coming off the bench anyway. Shane is no longer starting material in the nba.

Haha, I'm sure the TOF had hopes of Tmac coming back after reading the thread title.

OK, so do we go small with Brooks and Lowry at the guard spots, start C-Bud and bring Battier in early, or go big and start Landry at the 3?

Guessing option 1, but curious what folks think...

I hope it is Budinger. I would love to see the Rockets get a lead so that when Ginobili comes in, it is an uphill battle for the Spurs.

Man you just need to stop with the hate already. This had nothing to do with T-Mac and if the change would've included him, that's what the thread would've been titled.

Why do coaches have to be so stubborn if you're not getting results you must change something. CBud should replace Shane or Ariza.

Agreed. At least, not with this Rocket team. I would love to have Shane starting alongside four guys who can put the ball in the hole but not this group. I think Shane could actually be more effective coming of the bench due his maturity and his ability to focus. I can't say that for the other starter at wing who isn't very good on offense.

If it was based onperformance so far this season you would start:

    Scola
    Hayes
    Battier
    Budinger
    Brooks

    but alas it is not.

Then, isn't it a good idea to have a lead if you are worried about a Spurs run?

Really? I can see Budinger and Brooks as far as performance of this season. Landry has performed better than Scola. Battier, Hayes have not separated themselves from the bench this season and are starting because of past performance. Not to say anyone on bench has proven to be better than either except Budinger in Battier's case.
