Alright, it's that time of year again. The time of year when I rack my brain in hopes of coming up with good gifts for loved ones. I suspect with the collective brainpower in this group, we can come up with some good ideas. I need something for my Mom, Dad, Sister, Brother-in-Law and Girlfriend. I moved out of the house years ago, so I don't know the random things my parents would want. Same with the sister. I have a lot of small ideas for my (relatively new) girlfriend - just ancilliary gifts based on little jokes between us, but no idea as to what to get her for a main gift (and I have no desire to go overboard for her this early). My Mom enjoys nice art, figurines, decoration type things for the house, so that's always a fall back plan. Like most Dad's, mine likes electronics and computer stuff, but he has most things. Anything new and exciting out there? My sister is now also a Mom and doesn't even have enough time to think about what she really wished she had. I probably described a lot of yalls family situations, so I bet you have some good ideas. How about a little help?
I just bought some of that magnetic poetry for my fridge. I got the Rock 'n Roll edition. It has words like, spandex, groove, microphone, punk, grammy, sex, platinum, etc... Pretty awesome. Thinking about getting some for my parents (the regular edition). I think they would enjoy it.
Mom and Sister: gift certificate to a massage at a day spa Dad & brother: pre-paid green/cart fees at a nice golf course
