This is odd I have come to the conclusion he must he whipped or stupid.... They get married every summer even having tuxes and the cake basically the whole shebang! He is not allowed to be interviewed by "goodlooking" female reporters. He tells her he loves her at least 80 times a game by these hand gestures...(one day that will cost him the game when does that) She pawns her kid off and goes to every away game.... They even showed her with purse in hand swinging when he got into a fight with rick foxx They showed this piece on Real sports......

I dont see the big deal with the Christie situation. I mean god forbid we have two people that are truley in love with each other. They seem very committed. Considering the divorce rate in this country is at an all time high I commend them on their dedication.
You might do her. But would you allow her to keep your reproductive organs in a jar on the top shelf of the bedroom closet, only allowing you to have them when it pleases her?
she doesnt look that good in the picture either. the only logical thing i can think of is that chistie cheated on her and the only way she would take him back is if he never talked to other women, even female reporters, did that stupid "i love you" gesture every 30 seconds, ect. a lifetime of punishment for dougie-dougs past indescrescions? most every man would be completely embarrased by how much that woman controlls him. how can you live your life like that?
I don't understand this board's (and many fans') fascination with Christie's p***y-whippedness. The way some folks are always starting threads about it, it's like I've stumbled on a day-time-soap BBS or a conversation about the English royal family. Are we talking basketball here or is this a gossip circle? You may want to double-check your own man card if you find Christie's relationship with his wife interesting.
That's not a bad working theory. That or he was a serious playa (hard to believe with that face) before they got married, and she thinks he would cheat. Someone raised the commitment issue: well, if my wife had that little trust in me that I couldn't even talk to an attractive woman in the course of my business, I would have "needing to be committed" issues, not commitment issues. Trust and respect are critical in a relationship, and I don't see it happening there.
I think they married while still in college, who isn't a horndog at 21? She looks ok without the hair extensions.
well said, if theres no trust,why get maried? stupid if you ask me. i cant hang out with my cousin,who is like a brother to me,with out his wife caling at least 5 times, during the occasional lunch we might get to have without her there!!! its pitiful. i do bet the players make fun of him. i wish vh1 would do that show they talked about,maybe he'll see how whipped he is. why doesnt coaches say "quit thinking about your wife during the game, learn to shoot"

I saw it too--Bryant Gumbel asked the reporter who did the story "Does she have a life ?" LOL !! She shouldn't be leaving her kids just to attend away games though... once in a while is OK , but that's too many times to be away from your kids season after season, year in year out...
Thankyou. I really don't see the big deal here. Heaven forbid someone love his wife and actually be committed. Perhaps you all would feel a little better if he messed around on road trips ignoring all sanctity of a little contract called marriage, like the majority of athletes. So the Christies' are a little extreme, is that such a crime? They both seem pretty happy to me.
