I don't understand this stuff, or how people can walk around so delusional acting like their religion is fact and everybody else is choosing to look away.

I find this prominent in the evangelical community more than anybody else

Just look at the comments lmao

It's called mass induced psychosis. Very prominent in the fundamentalist evangelical community and fundamentalist Islamic community. Both communities find it absurd that there are other world views. The mere existence of other world views is offensive to them.

    2 things.

    1) Seems spiteful for an eternal creator to grant free will for -100 years of living only to pay for it for the rest of your "conscious afterlife" or whatever eternity means. If that's love or an Enlightened Being, then it more than explains all the grooming and brainwashed cult scandals out there.
    2) never trust a man who claims they went to the afterlife and wants to you live the way they want you to live

When liberals act this way, they are called woke by @tinman

But when Christians do it, it's just called being a Republican.

I super dislike individuals that have these "got you" lines just because that's the best strategy they have to win a debate. They don't actually do well when it comes to actual facts, but they are able to spin it on you to make you think for a minute and they consider this a win in their books. Take for instance this video where the Jewish man questions how this guy knows what Jesus did since neither of them were there to witness and just called it hearsay. Evangelist comes back with the BS, well you weren't there when Washington was the 1st president, so is it really true that he was the first president? It's such a disingenuous way to argue especially when you know damn well there is actual written history on it. Of course, most gullible individuals eat this **** up.

I don't have anything against anyone believing in whatever they want to believe, but come at me with actual arguments, not BS **** like evangelist on video. Anyone can convince individuals without any sort of critical thinking skills to believe if this is how they present their argument.

    Just terrible.

As they started talking Jewish man is getting slowly owned. God did not called the Israelites “ you stiff necked people” for nothing.

Evangelical debates are mostly rudderless because the core of Jesus and the Gospels are mostly predicated on Faith rather than works or beliefs. I don't think gotcha moments really work via strangers, maybe unless you got a loaf of bread or a stack of cash to give away for receiving the Right Answers. You know they've given up when they inject the whole lake of fire bit.

Genuine faith is contagious, but a lot harder to fake or promote via YT. That Christian dandy might know it, but smash that Like and Subscribe button for the inside track.

    I don't think I've ever been roped in F2F debate with a Christian like this. I doubt I'd do well. I'm sure they're well-practiced.

On the Heaven vs Hell thing, the proper response isn't "I don't care if I'm going to Hell". It's -- I have no reason to think Hell exists, and if it did exist I have no useful information on what behavior might lead me to it. Who's to say that following Christianity or Islam isn't what leads someone to Hell? "Their books say otherwise" tells me nothing. Also, if I reach Heaven and I learn that many of the people I knew are suffering for eternity in Hell -- how can I be eternally blissful with that information? The very idea is a contradiction.

Just treat people the way you'd like to be treated. Try to be kind and helpful to those that really need it. Reciprocate good deeds. Try to be honest and fair. You shouldn't need the possibility of Heaven or Hell to stay on a good path.

He did say something along those lines, he straight up said can you tell me god exists, and the guy was like “well you’ve heard of Jesus right”. There’s so many levels of logical fallacy that you’d have to fix

I didn’t know the delusion was this bad. Goto this channel and it’s basically these individuals harassing random people even other Christians and then being lauded for it.
