This deceivingly routine assist perfectly summarizes Chris Pauls's artistic greatness! The time seems to flow slower for Paul than everybody else and he is in complete control in the entire play!

I thought the one where he threw to capela after he faked a between the legs pass to Green was his best play. He had me lost as a fan.

CP3 is a master at using misdirection.

That was one of the nicer ones I got to see in live time. I rewinded it back a few time for folks so they could see it. He was just slicing them apart.

I noticed that both CP3 and Harden have gotten a lot more fancy/cute with their passes and moves this season, which is a very telling sign about how happy and relaxed these guys are out there.

Best part of the whole play has to be when Frye just gives up.

When I saw it live I was like wow, then I saw the replay and I was eh, but think I can appreciate how easy he made it look on replay in comparison to how hard it was and how much work and thought went into making a pass like that available to him when it wouldn't be available to anyone else. Then to see it. And deliver it. It gives you chills.

You can say the same thing about almost all great plays by any superstar's. Harden's ISO signature move is jab step, cross back, step back, shoot. Jordan's fade was fake right, spin left, and fade. The brilliance of it is how quickly it happens however. CP3 used a behind the back cross to slow down while preventing the ball from being stolen and pin down Frye. Then, he fakes a lob to get Frye into the air to sneak a pass by to a now completely freed up Nene for the wide open dunk. He did all of that in like a second.

It's an embarrassment. I think the league is so happy with all the scoring that it doesn't want to enforce stuff like that.

When he gets near the lane he's just huge trouble for the defense. He has incredible vision and accuracy on his passes.
