    Not sure if the Pythagorean theorem works here. You'd need to bust out some physics using arc, velocity, etc... Hell idk, I'm not a physicist but that shot was nice!!!

    It does, because I was just going by the 2D projection of the shot in the x-y plane. Better to say he was 78 ft from the vertical centerline of the basket when he shot the ball.

    I could take a crack at the approximate full distance traveled by the ball, but it's a little late for kinematics right now.
