http://sports.espn.go.com/nbadraft/story?id=1388989 blah blah blah "The school has called a "major news conference,'' for Friday at 5 p.m. ET with Marcus and Western Kentucky coach Dennis Felton. Marcus needs to take one summer-school class to earn his college degree and earn back his fourth season of eligibility after being ineligible for his freshman season at the school." yadda yadda... Changes the 15th pick don't ya think?
didn't expect to hear that news. does change things up. one positive, now i don't have to worry about us picking him.
I don't think he was a top 15 pick surely not a lock for the top 15 I don't see how it affects our top 2 picks Well, hope "Mr. Lockdown" doesn't hurt himself this season
This had already been posted in the Draft forum. http://bbs.clutchcity.net/showthread.php?threadid=34482
If the Rockets were thinking about trading down for a couple picks so that they could get both a 3 and a 5, there is now one less 5 for them to go after. Weren't the rumors that the Rockets were high on Marcus? This might push them even further into the Ming direction.
He WILL be a top 8 pick in the draft next year. Prolly a top 5. That's what everybody said last off season.
He has a injured foot and once the NBA teams heard about this his stock would have fallen so he pulled out.
