Anybody know anything about this guy? I just know he's a senior for I think Oregon and he's 7'2 300 pounds. Is he the country musician, writer, and actors son or something? That'd be crazy man.
I've seen him play once or twice. Very very slow. Think, Arvydas Sabonis, without the passing and handling skills. He can shoot alright, and can finish decently. But he is horribly slow. He makes Olajuwon look like Maurice Green.
So, essentially a tall stiff with some semblance of a jumper? Those players seem to be dime a dozen in the NBA these days... Oregon doesn't exactly have a pedigree for great NBA centers, either. Though he's not as heavy, he could fall in line as the next Brad Millard - big man with limited skills who doesn't get drafted. I haven't heard anything about this kid to say that we would get drafted - yet alone make an NBA team.
