Which one of these all-stars would you most want on the Rockets?

Dirk is ideal for Yao Ming! Imagine those 3 pointers raining down all night long.

Holy hell.... 2 7 footers, scola, brooks, and martin.

You have 4 legit...actualy 4 INCREDIBLE shooters on a team surrounded by an unguardable center. I'm scared just to think about it.

Its impossible to guard either dirk or Yao 1 on1, maybe even brooks.

the NBA would NEVER allow this to happen...actually Cuban would never. You pretty much make the rockets the best team in the NBA hands down.

Any Dirk talk is pointless - he'd have to come in a S&T, and there's not a chance in hell that Dallas would agree to that. Even if Dirk publicly announced he would only agree to being sent to the Rockets, Cuban would see him walk before handing him to Morey.

With Bosh, we at least have a small chance. I think Al Jefferson is next in line, and possibly Amare. Heck - LeBron is more likely to end up in Houston than Dirk.

Can't stand the Mavs but at least dirk is not as bad as Jason Terry, can't stand that dude.

Dirk is a Mav but the dude is tough. Anyways, he'll never be in a Rockets uniform.

lmfao, there's not even a question who is better for houston. you get Dirk on this team, and it's an order of magnitude greater than what Gasol to LA was. all the refs in all of $tern's pockets couldn't stop Houston from being the best team in the NBA by far. the NBA is all about matchups and Yao + Dirk = 2 insurmountable matchup problems for any team, plus 2 great FT shooters to close out games. you have 2 go-to guys on the inside and outside, there's mechanically little other teams could do

the true answer to this poll however is the missing option: option 3:

    NONE OF THE ABOVE

since the most likely scenario is neither even sniff at Houston as a possible destination

Dirk is better than Bosh. I don't want him to win a ring. Don't want Bosh if it costs us too much. We also need an eventual replacement for Yao to pair with Bosh. emjohn put the chances of obtaining a big FA very succinctly.

The choice is Dirk and it's not even close. Much better all around player.

People who want Bosh over Dirk are insane. I mean, does T-Man even watch or understand basketball? I'll assume ppl are saying Bosh simply because they don't think Dirk would ever leave the Mavs, which is true of course. But speaking solely on the question, it not even close.

The choice is between a great post-up player to the greatest 7 foot shooter to ever play. C'mon now.
