He used to be a 20-10 player. He said he signed with the heat because he wanted to be on national TV. So far, his stats: 32 minutes, 13 pts, & 6.4 rbs. I am not sure this is what he wants. He is becoming a role player. BTW, James & Wade are both still 20-5-5 players.
the state of Florida now has the two highest paid role players in the NBA. two jumpshooting power forwards too.
I think it's too early to make any conclusions about the role he's going to have on this team. They're still finding their way.
Well, one of them was going to have to drop off. I'm pretty sure Bosh is fine with his stats, too, especially since he doesn't have to be "the man" anymore. He is now third fiddle. He'll have a big game every few games, but he'll average like 16 points and 8 rebounds this season, at most in my opinion.
This is a good situation for Bosh; he won't be responsible for the Heat losing games. He'll make his money, and cash in all the potential championships.
Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen.. both role players. Who cares? Doesn't mean he's gotten worse, just means less opportunities.
I'm glad we didn't end up trading for Bosh. We wouldn't have the pleasure of watching the beast that is Luis 'scooper' Scola.
You also forget to mention, that the Miami starters dont play in the fourth quater lately, so all the Miami big 3 stats are down. When Wade, or Lebron have a night off, they can let Chris Bosh get his, its a great weapon, that any team would love.
That's because he is a role player. In Miami he has the chance to be one of the best role players in the game. He needs to support Wade and James and does not have to worry about being the main guy at which he has failed previously. If Chris Bosh is your main gun, your team is not going to be very good. I still dont understand why folks on this board were so high on him.
